Seminar at PAG: Ice detection in debris disks: Implications for JWST scattered light observations.

Dr. Minjae Kim of University College London, UK is visiting us for the duration of 13th to 23th May. During his visit he delivered a seminar on ice detection in debris disk. Title of his talk is “Ice detection in debris disks: Implications for JWST scattered light observations”. During his talk, Dr. Minjae provided information regarding presence of water ice in asteroid belt and other debris disks from JWST observations. They made observations of the scattered steller light and made model in order to interpret the observations.
